Background
The LogistEC project aims to develop new or improved technologies of the biomass logistics chains. Specifically the work package 5 of this project must demonstrate the improvement of process operation for all the steps from harvesting to transport and processing of energy crops within the scope of the project. On the other hand, Bourgogne, located in Burgundy region, France, is a miscanthus pelletization plant under operation included in these demo cases. Miscanthus is an energy crops used as feedstock for supply of this plant. 

Objective
Dissemination of LogistEC generated knowledge concerning the demos train case carried out in miscanthus harvesting and pelletization in real operation condition to supply Bourgogne Pellets plant.
